About this site

H. E. Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche, was born in Tibet in 1930, recognized as a incarnate master at the age of four, and received his training there. At the age of 29, he began the journey that exiled him from Tibet for almost three decades and lead him to India, Nepal, the United States, and Brazil.

This blog is dedicated to the stories that his students lived in retreats, during his travels, or in the simple daily life interaction with him.

At first we will have a new story weekly in the blog. You can sign our newsletter or the RSS to receive news about the updates.

An important disclaimer.

The teacher-student relationship on vajrayanna budhism often includes restrict or very personal teachings, which sometimes doesn’t fit on a public website like this one. Because of that, the publishing of your story depends on a very strict selection by Chagdud Khadro and a team of translators and editors. When sending your story, you are accepting eventual changes on the actual text made by the editors on the content or writing style. If your story was posted and you are not happy with the final version made by our team, contact us and let us know your opinion.
